India :
Illegal construction demolition drive in New Delhi received a boost in the arm as the Supreme Court today ordered the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to seal all commercial establishments operating in residential areas in the capital.
A divisional bench comprising Chief Justice Y K Sabharwal, Justice B N Srikrishna and Justice R V Raveendran directed the MCD to provide ten days notice to the owners of such establishments and make it known through advertisement in the newspapers.
Now it seems the game’s finally up for the encroachers and illegal building owners. But you never know, do you? Let’s see what happens.

Do you realise the adverse effect on the livelihood of millions of people & the capital’s economy due to this? If it took 50 years for SC to wake up and do something about it, surely the owners of commercial establishments in residential areas deserve at least 5!?!

supreme court should come with some alternative, the chief justice of india should not behave like a dictator.
they should think about miliions of people who will be affected . moreover this step of sealing will lead to inflation.

the way this sealing drive is going, it looks as if supreme court has no alrenative, they should atleast think over it ,it seems that the decision of supreme court is under some pressure. ( the chief justice might be under some pressure of coommercial comlex owners)
court should give some time (atleast 1 year) to the people to shift from residential areas to commercial comlexes. doctors , schools , educational institutes , architects, advocates , these should be allowed to operate from residential areas.
some retd people dont have anything to do, so they sit back at home and prepare PIL to trouble others. SUPREME COURT IS JUST A DICTATOR, IT DOES NOT LOOK THAT INDIA IS A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY.

The Supreme Court should also tell that where should all the people go after shutting their shops. When these commercial activities started where was this supreme court, at that time were their eyes shut.
I THINK THAT THIS NOT A SOLUTION AS THIS WILL LEAD TO TERRORISSM AND RISE IN INFLATION IT WILL MAKE PEOPLE GO THE WRONG WAY TO EARN THEIR LIVELIHOOD.
Atleast give them some time atleast 2 years, and please stop this injustice.
