The naxalites are getting bolder and bolder every day. Last night about a thousand of them raided a jail in Jehanabad in Bihar and freed around 350 inmates amongst whom many were from the rival private army of landowners - Ranvir Sena.



As the news of the audacious operations by the ultras to free associates from the jail started sinking in, reports have emerged that Maoist guerrillas have put a bounty of Rs I lac each on the heads of two senior cops in Jharkhand - Garhwa SP Deepak Verma, Sub Divisional Police Officer Alok Kumar.



With the law and order situation of Bihar and Jharkhand already collapsing beyond any repair in the foreseeable future, criminals, bandits and illegal outfits like the Maoists are having a field day. The police forces of both the states are at a loss on what to do now. We have a suggestion for them. Continue do what you had been doing; keep extorting money from cart-pullers, pavement dwellers, hawkers etc. and keep boozing and snoozing. Let the country go to hell, when the politicians are rotten, what more can we do?

Jehanabad jail raid update

It is now believed that the raid carried out by Maoist ultras in Bihar’s Jehanabad jail to free associates and kidnap prisoners from rival outfit Ranvir Sena, has resulted in the deaths of at least 5 people. So frustrated got the police that they started beating the journalists for giving the issue such wide coverage. Several journalists have been injured in the process. So much for the valour of the most incompetent and pathetically demoralized Bihar police.
