Riding on Sachin Tendulkar’s 39th ODI century and some attacking play by Pathan, Dhoni and Yuvraj, India scored an impressive 328 in their innings giving Pakistan a target of 329 to win.
But Pakistan batsmen matching up to India’s score scored briskly with Salman Butt scoring 101 with Malik chipping in with a 67-ball 90 to take its score to 311 for 7 wickets in 47 overs when bad light stopped play.
