It was said, Usain Bolt will break his own record of 9.72 seconds, which he set in June this year and he did it. It was a stunning result really. Hope to see some new records by Bolt, in coming days. Nice news indeed!

Tremendous achievement. Did you see how casual he appeared to run the last few matters just as if he was dismissing the rest of the pack as non-competitive. A great run. The difference between Bolt and the second-placed Thompson who posted a time of 9.89 secs was a whopping 2 milliseconds - an era almost in 100 metres.

Bolt was truly stunning. To cross the 100 meter mark in 9.68 seconds that to at a venue the world awaits is astonishing. He is clearly a world-beater and the ease with which he dismissed his adversaries in that race stamped his authority all the more.I totally agree with you Puneet -2 milieus seconds in a 100 meter dash is a decade. It was good to know that Bolt wasn’t or isn’t involved in any kind of a doping dispute which would make clean athletes like Carl Lewis happy for the love of the game.

Atul, ah ahem... Carl Lewis a clean athlete? Well, perhaps not, because there is a lot of speculation on his athletic feats. Remember Flo Jo? She died in such a young age and it was later discovered that steroids were the cause of her death. Carl Lewis belongs to that era.

However, I am not disputing you here. I am just speaking my mind.

The way he is running shows that he is a very arrogant man. Though I like him as an athlete and commend him for his 100 meter world record I simply cant support the way he ran the 200 meter heats yesterday. Pride always bring downfall in a person and Bolt is no god.
