Killer, terrorist & thug Abu Salem won’t swing from the gallows after being extradited from Portugal to India to face trail on the myriad murders and banditry he committed in India, CBI chief US Mishra told news reporters. Apparently, a deal was struck between Portugal and India on this. The Europeans are a very humane collection of nations, they don’t execute people like Uncle Sam or India does, they just put them away in prison for a maximum of 25 years for whatever crime they commit barring a few nations like Britain and France, where one can end up in prison for the rest of your life.



Salem, who was holed up in Portugal with his Norwegian-Indian concubine Monica Bedi, is a wanted criminal ... involved in the Mumbai blasts, so said Mishra (as if we didn’t know).



Mishra also said that Monica baby won’t be executed as well. Incidently, Monica wrote a long letter with her woes to our PM citing how innocent she was and deceitfully trapped by the thug. She was only a sweet sixteen at the time of the Mumbai blasts and didn’t have an ilk of what Salem was all up to when she met him several years back.



Both Salem and Bedi have been flown in from Lisbon by a chartered plane to Mumbai. Whoa!
